Looks like a storm tossed sea. You're very talented at combining images. sherri @ May 15 2009
Great job combining these. I like the misty feeling and the washed out look! Andy @ May 15 2009
Sorry, but I did not understand it :( perhaps as the decoration of the interior is well aleksarus @ May 15 2009
soothing view.... like a painting! Liang @ May 19 2009
Some of your composition just stump me outright. I then read your details and understand. Awesome abstract photography. Thomas @ May 20 2009
I disagree with aleksarus. Not every photos should be clear. Or with distinct subject.
I think this triptych is one of those works that should be seen in large format. Web size is not the best for such creations. Ilan @ May 24 2009
Thank you to all who made the effort to comment. I found your responses to my images to be enlightening and your honesty is really valued. I guess what I was trying to do with these images was create a certain feeling, a soft, almost watery look with some quick lines and dashes that the waves and foam 'drew' accidently on the water's surface. I like to use the rough quality of the camera phone to create a texture and noise, it is beautiful to me the way that colours can separate and scatter. Anyway, some thoughts and ideas I use that might illuminate my photography a bit... Jo @ May 24 2009
Hello Jo, I was breathing a little bit, daily posting is really a lot of pressure and leads to bad photography. Now I post a serie when I want.
Regarding this work, Ilan is right but we should be able to feel it on the web too, I can imagine it in big myself (this is maybe the problem with iPhone - can you enlarge, let's say 1 meter high?)
I like the format increasing in relation with the waves, I like this a lot this noise, sometimes adding grain to soften digital captures. I'm also working a lot with polyptych and I still wonder if it's better to have a white separation between images or sticked together.
In any cas, great job ;) Phototherapy @ Jun 18 2009
